See You at the Pole: Student Lead School Prayer

🌟 Hey Students! 🌟 Are you participating in the upcoming See You at the Pole (SYATP) day on September 24, 2025! This event is a fantastic opportunity for students to gather for prayer, support one another, and create a positive impact in their school and community.

In this post, we’ll share how you can get involved, what resources are available to you, and why this event is so essential. Let’s jump right in!

What is See You at the Pole?

See You at the Pole is an annual gathering where students coordinate and come together at their school flagpole to pray for their friends, families, teachers, and communities. This year, on September 24, 2025, thousands of students across the nation will unite in prayer. It’s a moment of reflection and unity, allowing students to express their faith and support one another in a peaceful setting.

Last year, over 300,000 students participated in SYATP events across the country, making it a powerful statement of support and community. Whether you’re experienced in organizing or joining for the first time, SYATP is your chance to take a stand for your beliefs and inspire others.

Planning the SYATP event at your school has never been easier!

Are you a student planning your SYATP event? Need help planning? Here’s what to do:

  1. Visit their website: By going to https://syatp.com/ you will have a step-by-step guide on what to do to prepare.

  2. Get the word out: Tell your fellow students about the event, post on your social media to help spread the word. Here at Keystone, we will be posting to our website and social media to promote each gathering that we are informed of. Together we can reach a broader audience and encouraging more students to take part.

  3. Munchies: To make your event special, we will donate water and pre-packaged breakfast snacks for participants (first come first served). We want everyone to feel welcomed and supported.

If you would like Keystone to donate the water and snacks to help make your event a success, please reach out to us by Sunday, September 21, 2025, at hello@keystonepedtherapy.com. This will give us ample time to coordinate the drop-off and pick-up of any materials we can provide.

Creating a Peaceful Moment of Prayer

The central focus of SYATP is the moment of prayer. It’s a time for unity and reflection. Here are some tips to create a peaceful and meaningful experience:

  • Comfortable Location: The flagpole is a popular is usually at the front of most schools and buildings. It is also a great reminder to pray for our country!

  • Start on Time: The official time for SYATP is typically 7:00 AM. It is always before school and never distracts, prevents, or disrupts the normal flow of pick up/drop off. Early morning is often favored as it allows students to start their day with a encouraging mindset.

  • Invite Others: Encourage friends, classmates, and teachers to join in. The more people, the better! Use flyers or social media to spread the word. Check out their website!

  • Plan the Prayer: Decide on what you want to pray for. You might focus on your school, local issues, or even personal intentions. Having a few students lead the prayer can provide guidance and structure. Don't know what to say in your prayer? SYATP has you covered. They have prayer suggestions or actual prayers you can recite. Check out their website for more details.

  • Be Inclusive: Remember that SYATP promotes unity. Welcome everyone to join, regardless of their beliefs. This is a time to support each other.

Building Community Through Prayer

Participating in SYATP isn’t just about one day; it’s about fostering a long-lasting community. When students gather in prayer, they create friendships that can last throughout their school years and beyond.

This event encourages students to uplift each other, promoting kindness and understanding. It’s a strong reminder that when we come together, our collective voices can truly make a difference.

As you prepare for SYATP, think about ways to continue encouraging unity and support within your school community. Consider organizing follow-up events or prayer groups to keep the spirit of SYATP alive.
