Holiday Newsletter

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break. Hopefully you are getting into the holiday spirit. It is truly the most wonderful time of the year. Keystone Pediatric Therapy has a few important updates ahead that we wanted to highlight in this short newsletter. We plan to cover insurance changes, our Canned Food Drive, and Family Appreciation Week.

Insurance Updates

By now all of our current and active families that use insurance have received a letter in the mail indicating some important changes taking place. Due to low insurance reimbursement and the complexities involved in recouping payment from insurance plans, we have made the difficult decision to opt- out of ALL insurance carriers we have been credentialed with thus far. As of February 1, 2024, we will no longer be considered as an in-network provider with any health insurance panels. Aetna is set to expire this year, December 31, 2023. Unfortunately, we did not have the option to continue with them for a few months into the new year. We will make this transition as easy as possible.

Opting out gives us the ability to focus on providing the expert and skilled services that we are passionate about. We appreciate your business, and do not take your support and trust for granted. This change will allow us the space to provide more community based programs (our initial vision for Keystone) and to give back, in a bigger grander way. We are so excited to launch more workshops and camps in 2024!

We value you and your children so much, and like you, only want the best for your child. We believe that we are the best! But, if you decide that you need to look for another clinic we are happy to make recommendations. Although we are opting out of insurance, please remember you may still use your HSA cards for payment. Our rates remain the same as they did the moment we opened our doors.

For the families that will be continuing with therapy sessions, you will be asked to sign the updated policy forms to reflect these and other related changes. Thank you for your support.

Please contact our office if you have any questions that we can answer at this time. We look forward to continued collaboration as we progress towards your child’s goals.

Canned Food Drive

Keystone Pediatric Therapy will be holding a canned food drive to benefit the local food bank Sem Food Pantry. Sem Food Pantry is a client-choice food pantry that also helps clients register for local benefits. This pantry allows the family or client to shop for their own food instead of only supplying pre-selected packages or boxes. The amount of dignity, respect and love that this pantry provides to our neighbors is simply amazing. We have decided to shoot for a goal of 100-cans of food for this pantry. WE CAN DO IT! Please make your donation at our clinic and we will make a delivery directly to them. Cans are due by 12/31/2023.

Family Appreciation Week

Keystone Pediatric Therapy is a therapist owned and operated local small business. We are not a big-box chain or franchise. We started this company for one reason. To supply our community with skilled services close to home. We appreciate the trust you give us in working with your family to achieve your goals. With that being said, we are so happy to announce that our Annual Family Appreciation Week is finally here!

During December 4th - December 9th please have your child pick up their thank you bag after their session. This will be such a fun week! If you are a past family, we have something special for you too! Please call the office and we can coordinate a time for you to pick up your goodie bag. Please consider leaving a review if you enjoyed working with your therapist. Thank you, Anderson Township family and friends!

Happy Holidays,

Aireal Ishola, Owner, OTR/L
